At the direction of Governor Douglas, the Economic Response Team, or ERT, has been created to identify and assist Vermont companies to mitigate the impacts of the economic downturn, by enhancing communications between government, its partners, and Vermont companies, so the state can provide a rapid response to the needs of businesses before decisions are made that could impact our state.
Comprised of a small team of officials from government agencies such as the Departments of Economic Development and Labor, and representatives of the general assembly as well as regional and statewide economic development professionals, the financial community, and institutions of higher learning, the team is designed to respond to changing conditions to bring the appropriate resources to bear quickly.
After initial consultation with the ERT, an appropriate case manager will be assigned who will work directly with the company and have access to a team of partners which will support the deployment of resources based on a plan developed to specifically meet the needs of the company.
To access the services and resources available through the ERT, contact Ken Horseman at the Department of Economic Development at 828-5236 or fill out the contact information below and an ERT member will contact you as soon as possible. All propietary information is kept confidential under the public records law and will be strictly protected.
